The Stays-Dress is inspired by the old fashioned Middle Ages Peasant Overdress, a type of garment that over many decades women, usually from the poorest classes worn on top of different types of clothes. It is not meant to be a historically accurate design as this type of garment was usually not boned, but rather a reinterpretation of the garment mixed up with the concept of a stays. The Stays-Dress goes from the waist line, covers all the back and gets above the bust area at the front .You can wear it with a wide dress/chemise underneath as well as a pair of trousers or leggings. Depending on whether you are or not used to wearing corsets, I will create a more or less tight corset, so that you will be able to enjoy your garment with no pain

Each corset is fully boned with plastic boning and carefully handmade in my little lab. The lining is cotton and you can choose which outer material you want your corset to be made of

You can decide to get the chest area to be pointy or rounded depending on whether you want more covering or not. Each corset have a lacing up on the center back but you can choose whether having a straight lacing up or a tilted one. If you order the tilted version you can add a matching stomacher. That way you can decide whether showing off your skin or covering it up for a more historical result. You can also choose the length of your dress as short or long
